Essential Bartender Duties includes:
Verifying identification and age requirements of customers
Mixing traditional and creative cocktails
Processing payment from customers
Cleaning glasses and bar utensils – maintaining the area clean
Making suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
Opening and maintaining tabs throughout their shift
Building a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
Required Qualifications:
Ability to work well in a team.
Ability to remain calm under pressure; detail-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts.
Ability to communicate in English with management and co-workers to their understanding.
Able to work various shifts, including evening, weekend shifts and holidays
Bartending experience is required
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Availability to work a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends and holidays
Able to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and regularly lift up and move to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
Frequently required to use hand-to-finger motions, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
Able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
