Hana Sake Bar and Tasting Room is an authentic sushi restaurant located in Rohnert Park that has been open since 1990. We are currently looking for Garde Manger/Cold Station Line Cooks with 3-5 years of experience. Shifts are 1pm to closing, Tuesday and Wednesday. Japanese restaurant experience preferred, not required.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Can work both Tuesday and Wednesday
- Knife skills, control of fire, and knowledge of cooking.
- Willingness to learn and comply with company policies
- Timely, reliable and diligent
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and your peers
- Extensive knowledge of food and cooking techniques.
- A positive, “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
- Able to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period
- Ability to multi task and keep busy during down time
- Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred
- Japanese cuisine experience highly preferred
- ServSafe is required for this position
