The hours vary weekly depending on how many events we have booked. Some weeks will be busier than others, full time even and other weeks a few days here and there. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and flexible and wants to be a part of a team that enjoys catering and getting the job done efficiently while also enjoying themselves but puts the task first. Title: Production Kitchen Prep Cook/Organizer
Employment Status: Part Time & Seasonal
Pay Rate: $20-25 DOE
Immediate Supervisor : Event Chef
Purpose Statement:
Working with the executive sous chef and the production chef, has primary responsibility for overseeing and supervising production & execution of prep menu for the events
Description of Duties
Including but not limited to:
Attention to detail and organization skills a must
Responsible for shopping for goods needed.
Responsible for all pack out at kitchen and warehouse
Making sure all coffee box/bar box are organized.
Assist in storage and organization of all food
Maintain safe standard of food production and cleanliness
Making sure all kitchen staff takes breaks in a timely manner
Prep meals for event when needed
Google docs, Fluent in reading and writing in english
Open/closed kitchen
Maintain kitchen and cleanliness, sweep/mop/wipe down
Operate dish machine and clean up all pots and pans when needed
Perform additional duties and follow directions as directed by Chef
Work well in a team environment
Staying on task in a timely manner
Will be responsible for kitchen finishing production on time. If not possible must communicate with Chef at the beginning of the shift to make the necessary adjustments.

Able to work under time sensitive deadlines and perform under pressure.
In good physical condition, having full range of motion and able to lift heavy objects in excess of 40lbs.
Must be able to load and unload van for events
Must have knife skills.
Perform other duties as described by Chef
Have good communication and organization skills
Education:
Any culinary experience/training in the back of the house food production
Any combination of training and experience which would provide the knowledge and abilities to succeed in this position. Training is provided.
Food Handlers certification up to date or willing to obtain
