Position Summary:
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience at Valley Goat. You’ll greet guests with enthusiasm, manage reservations and waitlists, and ensure smooth seating flow—all while representing the relaxed, elevated spirit of Treehouse Silicon Valley.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
Manage reservations, waitlists, and table rotation using the host stand system
Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
Answer guest inquiries about the restaurant and surrounding hotel amenities
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
Support team members as needed to enhance the overall guest experience
Qualifications:
Positive, approachable, and guest-focused attitude
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous host or customer service experience preferred
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
