Don't let the location fool you, Pig in a Pickle is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. We smoke all our meats on site and make everything we sell from sausages and sauces to our fermented sour dill pickles. We are hiring a Full Time Meat Carver at our Emeryville Location.

Pay is Based on Experience and - all positions are tipped

(tips average $6-7 per hour)

MEAT CARVER / SMOKER - you will cut meat to order for each guest and since guests are ordering directly from you, you really get to know all our regulars creating excellent income potential as a tipped employee. You will also be responsible for running the smoker during the shift and we will teach you how we butcher and prepare our meats and how to properly maintain the smoker throughout the day. Consistency is the key to success so all staff are expected to follow our recipes and standards everyday, all day. We are looking for someone with culinary experience and excellent knife skills to work the meat station.
