We are fun new restaurant, pizzeria + taproom, located in Walnut Creek. We recently opened, this year, and we have been named as one of the top pizza spots in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Chronicle ( May 14, 2024 ), and we feature several different styles of pizza, and also 10 local craft beers on tap.
We are seeking a lead server to join our growing team of professionals. Lead server will take on responsibility for the shift and for all service staff when a manager is not present. They support and guide all service staff to ensure all job tasks are completed for the shift. This includes opening and closing side work duties as well as ensuring the restaurant is open and ready for service and/or properly shut down for the night. They also support all serving staff to resolve any issues a customer encounters with food or service and report all issues to management.
Skills & Requirements :
Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests and associates.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Ability to perform basic math
Positive and welcoming attitude
Willingness to support in all areas of the restaurant as needed
Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
