Location: Our kitchen is located in San Francisco, CA at 103 Horne Ave.
Description:
- 25-30 hours per week with potential to become full-time starting Q3 2024.
- Must be available Friday and Sunday, with several remote work hours during the week and some additional kitchen time Thursday or Saturday.
- The Lead Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, including kitchen operations and quality control. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, highly skilled in culinary techniques, and capable of leading a team to deliver exceptional meals consistently.
- Responsible for planning and executing weekly rotating menus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
- Lead and manage the culinary team, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure that all food preparation meets the highest standards of quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality, fresh ingredients and negotiate pricing agreements.
- Implement and enforce food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff.
