ABOUT THE ROLE
Poppy Bagels is looking for a part-time FOH team member to join our small but mighty crew early September! We’re a busy shop, so reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are a must. If you’re someone who loves food (especially bagels!), thrives in a team setting, and takes pride in great service, we’d love to meet you.
Bonus points: Basic Spanish skills!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Run the Square register: greet customers, take orders, answer questions.
Learn our menu + bagel process so you can talk about it with confidence.
Call out orders and keep service flowing smoothly.
Stock drinks, prep cold brew/lemonade/iced tea, and serve beverages.
Keep track of and bag catering/pre-orders with care and accuracy.
Keep menus updated in-shop, online, and on the POS system.
Stock paper goods & cold case, lift up to 25 lbs when needed.
Maintain FOH cleanliness (tables, trash, bathrooms, closing tasks).
Jump in on dishes and other duties as part of our shared teamwork approach.
PAY, SCHEDULE & PERKS
Schedule: Friday, Sturday and Sunday morning shifts. Please do not apply if you can't commit to this full schedule.
Pay: $18/hr + pooled tips (avg $27–28/hr total).
