Position Summary

As part of our kitchen team, you’ll work alongside a passionate group to prepare culinary delights for our guests, maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and cleanliness. This role is perfect for someone who loves cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare food items in a timely and consistent manner following recipes and presentation specifications.

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.

Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, stations, and storage areas.

Assist with dishwashing, food running, bussing, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Support front-of-house staff by polishing glassware and helping as needed.

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly and safely.

Perform additional duties as requested by the manager.

Qualifications

Experience: Prior experience as a line or prep cook is preferred.

Skills: Basic cooking knowledge, knife handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.

Communication: Professional and clear communication skills.

Team Player: Ability to take direction, work well with others, and maintain composure under pressure.

Commitment: Strong dedication to quality service and an appreciation for food and wine.

Requirements

Food Handler's Permit: Required for food safety compliance.

Availability: Must be able to work days, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Working Conditions

Indoor environment with occasional exposure to temperature changes from kitchen equipment.

Moderate to loud noise levels.

Varying schedule based on business needs, including evenings and holidays.
