Humbowl is looking to hire a part time prep cook!
We're a fast casual restaurant serving savory, grain based bowls with health minded ingredients. Generally our Humbowls consist of brown rice and quinoa, lean protein, veggies, and sauce. We're locally owned and operated.
Pay will be determined on employment, but generally will start just over 19 per hour plus tips that are split between all team members (this is around $3-4 per hour more). Could be higher for the right candidate.
Our current hours are 7 days a week, 9am-9pm. Currently we need a prep person for Sunday and Monday mornings only. This shift is usually 8am-2 or 3pm. Those hours can be flexible, but we do need someone in the morning those two days. We need someone with a pallete who can adjust as needed to make sure our sauces taste consistent.
We are excited to be a health food restaurant in Berkeley and hope we find some people excited to join our new team. Full time and part time could be available. There will be advancement opportunities.
