Via del Corso is hiring a new Server. We are a popular and busy restaurant in the Gourmet Ghetto in Berkeley and are looking to hire a server for two days per week (on Tuesday and Sundays) and with an on-call shift on Wednesday Dinner shifts go from 4pm until about 10pm. The role pays $19 hourly plus substantial tips daily ($40 per hour on average).
Bartending experience is highly regarded but not necessary as shifts are sometimes available. Candidates should be outgoing, positive, and have at least two years of background in hospitality and service, as well as a passion for learning and growth. Some knowledge of Italian wines and cuisine is also necessary. A candidate should provide exceptional guest experiences and continually strive to exceed guests' expectations with every opportunity. Ability to take initiative and assist colleagues without prompting is vital to teamwork and the restaurant thriving. We are a small team and look forward to welcoming someone new to it.
