Flour+Water Pizzeria is a popular restaurant in San Francisco’s North Beach, and we are looking for new team members who love creating a hospitable and fun team atmosphere at work. We are currently hiring a SHIFT MANAGER/SERVER.

Flour+Water Hospitality Group is a family of businesses which includes the original Flour+Water restaurant, Flour+Water Pasta Shop, Penny Roma, and Trick Dog - as well as Flour+Water Foods - our recently launched line of retail pasta. We want to throw a pizza party every night and are seeking team-oriented individuals to help us do just that! We are currently seeking a strong, career-minded Weekend Shift Manager/Server to join our outstanding team. The Shift Manager position provides an opportunity to develop management skills in a fast-paced, driven environment in one of the greatest food cities in the world. This multifaceted position is a hybrid Server/Supervisor position, and is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to get to the next level in their restaurant career.

Our Shift Manager role is responsible for working the floor and leading by example as a server, as well as assisting the GM in managing, developing and inspiring our staff, and helping to define the success and culture of our restaurant.

Server/ Shift Manager Qualifications:

-Evening and weekend shifts are required INCLUDING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS - please do not apply if you are not available nights and weekends!

-Minimum one-years' experience in fast-paced fine dining establishments, with a strong desire and interest in management (some management or leadership experience preferred, but not required)

- Experience with high volume, fine-casual dining and seasonally changing menus

- Basic understanding of and interest in wine, beer and cocktails

- Excellent leadership skills with a warm and engaging personality

- A natural ability to provide and inspire genuine, refined and hospitable service

- Excellent communication and multitasking skills

- Desire to learn and be involved in the financial side of the business

- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and G-Suite, as well as an understanding of and interest in social media

- Experience with Toast and Resy, or similar systems

- Ability to create and implement systems that work for both management and staff

- Follow through on assigned tasks, and ability to manage long term projects

- Passion for and understanding of the current local food scene

Compensation for SERVER shifts is $18.07/hour + tips. Tips average approx. $130-230 per dinner shift, although this is just an average and may be more or less depending on the service time and day. Compensation for SHIFT MANAGER shifts is $30-32/hour DOE and is untipped.
