Del Popolo is a Michelin Bib Gourmand pizzeria and restaurant in Nob Hill, blocks away from Powell BART station. Our food is market- and larder-driven, approachable, and simple, made with high-quality ingredients. Snacks, antipasti, and salads are inspired primarily by the food of Italy, the Mediterranean, and the bounty of California.
We seek an experienced pizziolo to join and strengthen our fun and mighty team. Experience with wood-fired cookery is nice but not essential. This person should possess basic culinary skills and should be able and eager to
-learn
-multitask
-follow direction
-communicate clearly and effectively
-maintain a positive attitude
-take pride in the food you put out
-be open to feedback and constructive criticism
-work five nights per week, Tuesday through Saturday.
Hourly pay is $22 to $24, depending on your experience, plus tips. Health and dental insurance are provided.
