We’re looking for an operations-minded chef to join our tight-knit team at a beloved, neighborhood seafood restaurant in San Francisco. We’re committed to great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining strong relationships with our guests and staff. If you're a passionate, experienced chef who thrives in a dynamic, fun, and collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Leading the kitchen and dining room and developing a seasonal, vibrant menu that showcases the best of local seafood and ingredients.

-Working closely with ownership to refine and shape the direction of the menu, ensuring it stays fresh, exciting, and true to our brand.

-Managing food and labor costs effectively, balancing quality with profitability.

-Overseeing kitchen operations with a hands-on approach, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

-Cultivating a positive, growth-oriented culture among the kitchen team, with an emphasis on skill-building, mentorship, and teamwork.

-Ensuring the kitchen meets all San Francisco health regulations and California labor laws, with a focus on safety and compliance.

-Managing inventory, minimizing waste, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

-Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a leadership role, particularly in a seafood-focused restaurant.

-A deep understanding of seasonal menus and the ability to create vibrant, approachable dishes that resonate with guests.

-Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with ownership to ensure the restaurant's goals and vision are aligned.

-Expertise in food and labor cost management, with a track record of optimizing kitchen efficiency and profitability.

-A positive leader who fosters teamwork, motivates staff, and creates an environment for growth.

-A solid understanding of San Francisco health codes and California labor laws.
