Event Bartenders
Dee Wagner Events is a full service event company offering catering and event planning services in the greater Bay Area. Our events range from intimate dinner parties to large corporate functions in a variety of venues in the Bay Area. We are hiring event captains, servers and bartenders for our staffing roster. All positions are considered “on call” which means we reach out with events and ask if you are available and you respond yes/no.
General Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- English language skills
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work long shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in fast paced and often stressful situations
- Professional appearance at all times
Uniform requirements are all black. Black slacks (no leggings or jeans) black button-up dress shirt, black socks, all black shoes
- No dramatic hair colors
- No excessive jewelry or makeup
- No acrylic nails, no nail polish
Specific Requirements
Servers: Minimum 1 year experience in food related industry. We will train but must have a desire to work with the public and provide excellent customer service. Basic food knowledge and the ability to describe food to guests.
Bartenders: Minimum two years experience working as a professional bartender.
Captains: Minimum 3 years experience as a professional server in catering or restaurant. Understand finer points of service. Basic wine and liquor knowledge. Ability to take direction and work independently.
