Donato & Co. is an upscale, full-service Italian restaurant in the Elmwood District of Berkeley. We offer modern takes on classic regional dishes, exclusively Italian wines, and eclectic contemporary cocktails.
Presently, we need someone who is available for 4-5 evening shifts per week, weekends mandatory.
The role centers on supporting the lead bartender by maintaining bar appearance and stock levels throughout the shift.
Bartending duties are also required. Mixing, pouring, and interacting with guests are absolutely parts of this job.
Minimum requirements include:
- 21 years of age
- Ability to stand 4-5 hours
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Food/Beverage safe handling certifications
- Punctuality and presentability
Attitude, availability, and ability to learn are more important than experience, but you should know your way around a “full” bar. There will be times when you will be bartending on your own.
Compensation starts between $18.67(min. wage) - $20.00 / hour, depending on experience + tips.
