Dining Room Manager
French Bistrobar located in the financial district of San Francisco. We are looking for a dining room manager to join our team.
Fine Dining experience and wine knowledge required
Must maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings
Must be acutely be aware of all allergens in each dish and make sure employees are educated on them
Works on the floor in the restaurant, exceeding guest satisfaction completing management reports pertaining to revenue accounting, tip cash disbursements and recording
Oversee the set up quick service station with proper condiments and utensils
Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests to ensure guest satisfaction
Always ensure a clean and pleasant atmosphere of restaurant
Perform the daily line-up with Chef and service staff to discuss menu items and specials and 86’d items, upcoming events and review special instructions listen to and address and resolve any problems or concern
Train and supervise host and dining room attendants
Keep dining room stocked and cleaned
Ensure FOH employees are performing with accuracy and great customer service
Assure breaks are taken in a timely manner
Implementing fair and constant corrective action for any and all violations of company policies
Complete daily reports of service notes. This includes comp lists and reason for comps, notes on guests’ complaints and resolution. FOH issues, attendance or disciplinary action if any taken.
Licensing or Certifications for Dining Room Supervisor
RBS, TIPS, Food Handlers Certificate, SafeServ
Required Skills for Dining Room Supervisor
Excel
Word
Toast POS
4 years experience managing staff of 10 or more in FOH service
Fine Dining experience and wine knowledge required
Must be aware of safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist management with office duties as needed
