Job Summary:
Che Fico is looking for a versatile and reliable team member to take on the dual role of Catering Delivery Driver and Onsite Catering Attendant. This position ensures seamless delivery of our catering orders and provides exceptional onsite service, including set-up, maintenance, and client interaction during catering events. You’ll play a vital role in representing Che Fico, both on the road and at client locations, ensuring every order meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Catering Delivery Driver:
Safely load, transport, and deliver catering orders to clients across the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ensure food and beverages are handled properly to maintain quality and presentation during transit.
Verify order accuracy before leaving the kitchen and upon delivery.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and operations team regarding any issues or delays.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, following food safety protocols.
As an Onsite Catering Attendant:
Set up food stations, buffet lines, or displays at client locations, ensuring they reflect Che Fico’s high presentation standards.
Provide onsite service, including replenishing food, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting guests as needed.
Engage with clients and guests to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.
Assist with breakdown and clean-up after the event, ensuring the space is left tidy and organized.
Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any issues or adapt to last-minute client requests.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in catering, delivery, or hospitality preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area and its neighborhoods is a plus.
