Californios is seeking to fill a couple of support staff positions to our FOH team including captains and back waiters. If you are curious about fine dining with a creative twist, we highly encourage you to reach out!
We are a two Michelin star Mexican restaurant that encourages learning and creativity. We are a small team and there are many benefits to working with a chef owner actively here throughout our week. We are open Tuesday-Saturday but are open to flexibility to your needs. Full time is encouraged and will take precedence within the applicant pool. There is a genuine opportunity for growth on our team and we offer competitive pay. Often times we shift positions within our FOH, keeping you engaged and allowing you to explore your own curiosity if you want to grow within the team.
Applicants must have the following qualities:
-Team player attitude, nothing is ever “not my job”
-Attention for detail
-Hard worker and honesty
-Ability to stay calm, cool, and collected in a fast-paced environment
-Physical abilities and stamina to walk up/down stairs
-Fine dining experience is a plus, but not required. We will provide you with the training and tools you need.
