employment type: part-time 4 shifts a week min, possibility of five- Mondays, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Job Title: Front of House
Cafe Colucci began in 1991 as a small cafe. Since our inception, our goal has remained the same: to serve and educate our community about the wonders and beauty of East African cuisine. In September of 2022, we moved to our new, much larger location on San Pablo Avenue in Oakland. In addition to indoor and outdoor dining space, the building holds an Ethiopian spice shop, fueled by Brundo Spice Company, our sister company. Additionally, we have a full bar and retail. We are looking for hard-working professionals to join our team as we continue to grow.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to work lunch/evening shifts and weekends
- Able to work weekends and 4-5 shifts a week- we are looking for Mondays, Friday, Saturday and Sundays
-Excellent communication skills with management, cooks, and fellow team members.
-Ability to work in a fast paced team environment, with great enthusiasm and energy.
-Ability to accept constructive criticism and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
-Hospitality focused and possesses commitment to quality service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FRONT OF HOUSE:
-Constant walking and standing.
- Carrying hot plates
- Taking phone orders
-Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
-Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
-Regularly required to use hands and frequent washing of hands.
-Maintain a clean and polished look, and clean hygiene.
-Attire is all black with an apron
