Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with Cafe Manager and/or Lead to ensure food and beverage items meet our high standards.
-Provide exceptional guest service, embodying the Muir Woods spirit.
-Keep all assigned areas "First Guest Fresh" through continuous cleaning and maintenance.
-Work efficiently and positively as part of a motivated team, exceeding expectations.
-Adhere to Company recipes and Safe Food Handling procedures.
-Maintain required food and safety logs promptly.
-Follow Company Cash Handling Procedures.
-Uphold Health and Safety standards, policies, and initiatives.
Position Requirements:
-Knowledge of food preparation, storage, sanitation, and commercial kitchen equipment.
-Obtain ServSafe and/or State Food Handler Certification.
-Flexibility to work various day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
-Thrive in a fast-paced environment, spending the majority of the shift on your feet.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
-Embrace frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting.
Knowledge and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Cafe experience (1 year minimum preferred) and customer service experience.
