Raven Bar is looking for responsible, motivated, friendly and high energy individuals for Friday and Saturday nights as well as availability for other night(s) of the week (Thursday and Sunday). Commitment to Friday and Saturday night shifts are required as these are our busiest nights. Friday and Saturday nights range from 7 hour - 8 hours a night.

Some experience in bussing / restaurant / bar back required. This is an entry-level position, perfect for anyone who is looking to accelerate their career in the world of nightlife and hospitality, in an environment where new and useful skills are learned every day. All of our new hires begin as a busser & floater. Next, they advance to bottle server, then to bar back, and finally to bartender serving finely crafted specialty cocktails. Yes, we are one of the few busy nightclubs that serve specialty cocktails.

BARTENDERS AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAVE STARTED AT THE BUSSER POSITION AND ADVANCED UP THE RANKS.

BUSSER - Initial Entry Level Duties: Help set up for club events on Friday and Saturday night. Bus tables of glassware. Bathroom checks and mop/clean spills. More responsibilities added based on your experience and as your abilities are mastered and evaluated.

BAR BACK – Middle Entry Level Duties: Set up bar, fill in for bartender on breaks. Able to fill in as busser when needed by management. Training to become bartender begins when bar back skills are proficient.

Family environment where standards and expectations are high. Raven Bar is privately owned where self-motivation and innovative thinking is nurtured and encouraged. This two-level intimate venue is located in SF’s SOMA district.
