Summary
Performs a variety of baking duties and assist with the preparation of bread, Viennoiserie and pastry products to be delivered to Thorough Bread and Pastry. The products include baguette, ciabatta, naturally leavened sourdough, croissant, puff pastry dough, pie dough, cookies, scones, muffins, cakes, holiday specialties and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
Mixing, dividing, shaping, baking bread dough. Laminating, shaping and baking Viennoiseries.
Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established formulas
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area including utensils and equipment
Cross train as required by your manager
Must be able to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays
Monitor and maintain established quality and brand standards
Receive and stock deliveries and store them according to FIFO
Mentor intern(s) and incorporate them into production when appropriate
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties s assigned: duties, and/or responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice
Minimum Job Requirements
At least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Must provide your own transportation.

Problem solver and self-starter
Detailed oriented, efficient, organized and works with a sense of urgency
Math skills involving fractions, decimals and knowledge of metric system
Passionate about baking
Schedule: Tue-Sat, 3:00am – 11:30am (varies)
Full-time preferred; part-time negotiable
