The Church is looking for Managers to help at the Oakland Church location.
The Church is a nondenominational, interfaith religious organization that supports the use and safe access of all Entheogenic Plants, with a focus on Cannabis and Magic Mushrooms.
Manager expectations and responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
-Management experience (minimum of 2 years).
-Keep track of the till and basic accounting.
-Ensure exceptional customer service is provided by a well trained team.
-Maintain a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the team.
-Educate staff and customers on the science of entheogenic plants; strains, cannabinoids, uses, and methods of consumption.
-Oversee and help with inventory and stocking processes.
-Possess a store keeper mentality and have ownership of all aspects of your store
-Successfully create a hospitable place for Church Members to enjoy and learn about entheogenic plants.
-Maintains open communication with management and retail staff.
-Demonstrate a working knowledge of state and municipal compliance and regulations.
-Ensure the overall safety & cleanliness of The Church.
-Motivate, inspire and consistently communicate with your team.
-Keep an awareness of safety and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
-Oversee and execute all initiatives as outlined on calendars.
-This position requires bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 40 pounds. These positions may require standing up to four hours at a time.
-A valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Experience handling cash.
-No known Entheogenic Plants allergies.
Bonus but not required:
-Past experience working with Entheogenic Plants.
-BILINGUAL (Spanish) or MULTILINGUAL.
-Experience in Customer Service, Human Resources, Healing, or similar experience a plus but not required.
-Knowledge of health, safety and security protocols.
-Organizational skills;
ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with focus and attention to details.
-Previous experience in management, operations, a collective or a combination of related experience and relevant education.
