Tau Motors of Redwood City seeks a Full Time Senior Software Controls Integration Engineer ($124,900 p.a.) to define requirements for power electronic and motor control software and integrate with hardware components (sensors, power stages, etc.); model, design, implement, and test motor controller functionality, behaviors, and control algorithms; model, design, implement, and test power electronic controller functionality; translate control algorithms into embedded software and integrate them into firmware frameworks; develop, validate, and benchmark motor control systems in lab and vehicle environments; ·create and execute HIL and SIL test scenarios for verification of motor control systems; and perform virtual sensing fault insertion testing for motor controls in EV use cases.
