Nyhus Design Group (NDG) is seeking a Mid-Level Architect to join our growing team in Burlingame, CA. If you are passionate about crafting exceptional spaces and ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to connect.
What You’ll Do
Lead and contribute to high-end residential and hospitality projects from design development through completion.
Produce detailed construction documents and specifications with precision and creativity.
Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure quality and vision alignment.
Participate in Construction Administration and help guide projects through successful execution.
Bring fresh ideas and curiosity to materials, systems, and design innovation.
What You Bring
5–15 years of professional experience in high-end residential and/or hospitality design and construction.
Strong background in construction documentation, detailing, and administration.
Solid understanding of materials, building systems, and construction methodologies—and a drive to learn more.
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, graphic, and presentation.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Word, and Excel; SketchUp experience is a plus.
Architectural licensure is not required.
