Our small but growing Landscape Architecture firm, seeks a part time associate with a strong work ethic who can wear many hats. Project types are varied and include multi-family urban infill, transportation, parks, schools, commercial, and the occasional residence. Our scope of services consists of design consultation, producing plans which comply with agency requirements and which incorporate arboriculture, horticulture and irrigation. Our design approach incorporates sustainability, climate appropriate species, water conservation and firescaping.
The work includes project management, autocad drafting & plan production, writing arborist reports, proposal and contract writing, and admin tasks. This is primarily a desk job with occasional strenuous field work but no installation. You will have a good foundation of education and experience but we train as needed.
This is an informal, open office. Focused production is balanced with interaction and collaboration. You are able to take direction well, juggle tasks and calmly manage deadlines. The work is in-house and the schedule is part-time and flexible.
