Hello,
We are looking for a teacher aid/ Rbt who will be aiding a 4 year old boy to school on a daily basis from 740am-12pm Monday thru Friday . This position can be part time or full time. Aid/Rbt will be supervised by BCBA to ensure the success of our boy. Our son is thriving in a regular classroom. He has made so much progress. We will continue to keep him in TK one more year since he's on the younger side.
Job Description
-Aid in classroom on daily basis
-Help with classwork
-Transitioning between things on a daily basis in classroom
-Teach him every day skills needed for Kinder
-Assist with snack time / toileting
-Help with socialization with other peers
-Help with learning material in classroom
Requirements
-Love children and school environments
-Being fun and playfull
-Be able to follow his lead if necessary
-Be able to take direction from Bcba and execute
-Attend Speech therapy with our son once a month to be up to date on skills etc
-Be available on daily basis if needed for school
The BCBA (head therapist) will zoom in on class time a few times a week to see if she can offer any assistance / training on how to help our son excel.
