Flexible Schedule

Hourly rate: $30-35

Substitutes—You will work a flexible schedule, including being called to work the morning of a school day due to staff absences, coverage for a planned vacation or unexpected extended leave, or a long-term placement during a transition period while hiring. You will work with children ages 18 months through 5 years old across three classrooms. We seek individuals who understand a substitute's crucial role in our program. Your dependability, flexibility, and warm and friendly demeanor will be instrumental in supporting the teaching teams in providing a nurturing, play-based, and child-centered program. Our program, which focuses on an emergent curriculum, fosters a connection to nature through play-based learning and provides a flexible rhythm, it relies on your ability to guide children as they freely flow from the indoor classroom to the outdoor classroom during significant portions of each day.
