Job Overview:
· Co-teaching in classrooms of either 2/3, 4, or 5-year-old students
· Work hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday- Friday, at least 5 hours a day
· Contract period: August 2025-May 2026 (potential start in July)
Applicants should be:
· Experienced teachers desiring a long-term relationship with our closely connected school community
· Well-versed in and familiar with the benefits and methods of play-based and project-based early childhood education
· Able to communicate well both orally and in writing
· Loving and caring towards children
Applicants should have:
· At least 12 ECE units or an Associate's degree in ECE
· Preschool teaching experience
· The ability & desire to work in a co-teaching model and as a team with all staff
Added benefit if applicant has:
· Willingness to help care for plants and animals: Bunnies, chickens, reptiles
· Bilingual English/Spanish speakers or other languages
· Musical aptitude: singing or playing an instrument
· Knowledge of empathic or compassionate communication
· Flexibility of mind and creative abilities
Compensation:
The starting pay is $21-24 per hour depending on experience.
