We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teachers to join our expanding school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child in your care. Your role will be pivotal in shaping their early learning experiences and preparing them for future educational success.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.

Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.

Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their social skills and emotional well-being.

Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and maintain effective communication within the team.

Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children’s actions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 6 ECE units is required.

Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.

Familiarity with classroom management techniques and early childhood curriculum frameworks.

Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.

Experience in caregiving roles such as babysitting or toddler/infant care is an advantage.

A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
