Corte Madera Montessori (CMM), in Marin County just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, is seeking an Assistant Teacher/Floater to support our classrooms and after-school programs for children ages 2 to 5 years. We are a family owned and operated school with an intimate supportive environment dedicated to providing children with a loving and authentic Montessori experience.
This is a year-round position with an ASAP start date.
Hours offered: This is a part-time role. Start time would be between 12pm and 2pm with an end-time of 6pm depending on the candidate's availability.
Our ideal candidate has:
A minimum of 12 ECE units required
Experience in a preschool setting leading groups of children from age 2 to 5 yrs
Confidence with the use of positive discipline to guide children and enforce limits
Experience with Montessori preferred
A desire to learn and to be an integral part of a team
Able to lift 30 lbs

$26-29 per hour depending on experience and training
