Job description
Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Teach basic academic skills, such as letters, numbers, colors, and shapes
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Montessori training/certification or 12 units of ECE
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-age children
- Ability to provide individualized instruction and tutoring
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for addressing developmental delays
- Understanding of behavior management techniques for young children
