Days you will be working are on:
Wednesday 3/26/25 3pm - 6pm
Thursday 3/27/25 -4pm - 7pm
Monday 3/31/25 - 4pm - 7pm
Wednesday 4/2/25 3pm - 6pm
Thursday 4/3 4pm - 7pm
Total: 15 hours
Kumon of Homestead is seeking for a Assistant Instructor/Administrator who is able to manage the following tasks: (I will train you on these tasks)
- Assisting students (K-12) with their Kumon assignments (Specifically for English/Reading and basic Math). I already have a Math instructor who can help with the high level math (Fraction and beyond)
- Sit down with "Early Learners" (6 years and younger) to "guide" them how they do the work. This work is mostly repeating words and sentences. (Nothing to really teach/tutor). I only have a few of these students. You will only need to spend about 10-15 minutes per student and I do not have that many.
- Grade papers with Answer book provided. (Me/My team will train you on this)
Note, (regarding older kids (7 years and up) this is NOT a 1-on-1 tutor position. So you will not need sit with 1 or x amount of students to help them with their work on every question of their assignment. Students will need to be independent, but may have a questions on some of their work. They will walk up to you and ask. An answer book is provided (for the instructor) to all questions for their work. You may need to give some light guidance how the student can get to their answer. (A section where the answer can be found in the assignment)
Offer Rate: $25 1099.
Must show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
