The Esthetician Trainer is responsible for delivering training and learning resources that drive both spa’s guest experience and educates estheticians on how it impacts the key drivers of the business. This position reports to the Executive Team and Operations Manager and will play a key role in impacting the brand’s overall guest experience and sales through targeted and comprehensive training and in-center coaching. Your role is to train new hire and the existing estheticians in our Companies and provide a recommendation of the latest trends of machines to the Executive Team.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Educate, motivate, and coach estheticians, providing them with insights into the art of esthetics.
Demonstrate effective communication, soft skills, and professional development.
Collaborate within a dynamic team to foster a culture of learning.
Adhere to developed training content and schedules to ensure consistency of training message.
Evaluate capabilities of teams using available tools and observations while providing the appropriate level of feedback.
Collaborate with Operations managers and Executive team to support in-center training, quality control and continued education for their teams.
Help to develop peer trainers to ensure coaching is appropriately reinforced to sustain training effectiveness through actionable follow-up.
Appropriately measure impact of training based on agreed guidelines.
Maintain knowledge of the business by staying abreast of weekly updates.
Be flexible and open to new ways of thinking in a dynamic environment.
Support other training related tasks and projects as required.
Skills/Competencies:
Training experience is necessary.
Strong organization, coaching, and communication skills.
Abilities in supervision, teamwork, and documentation.
Solid work history with verifiable references.
Genuine passion for the beauty industry, honesty, and professionalism.
Education And Experience
Current Esthetician/ Cosmetology license required
5-10 years retail training experience, beauty industry required
