RE: CHESS COACH at City of San Rafael
RBA is currently looking for a committed CHESS COACH for part time position at City of San Rafael. Applicants should have coaching experience and/or knowledge working with children ranging ages from 5 to 14 years old. The philosophy of RBA programs is to engage children in learning both sport-specific activities and life-skills, in a fun and positive atmosphere. Applicants must be able to embrace these ideas while providing strong leadership and commitment to program participants.
The position is a part time job for a college student or an adult who enjoys coaching children. It is an enrichment program, year-round M to F afternoon classes, and camps during the Summer. The starting date is Summer 2024. Must have a passion and be excellent with children. Good sense of humor, flexible, energetic, and with great self-management skills are all required. Many of the students are learning the activity for the first time. Coaches must provide their own transportation and to have the ability to transport themselves and the provided equipment to the location.
