A fast-growing startup based in San Francisco’s Mission District is hiring a Payment Recovery Agent. Our company provides premium hardware products to customers for a monthly subscription fee.
Role Overview:
The agent will contact customers with overdue accounts to resolve their balance. This includes calling, texting, and emailing customers using provided tools and templates. The position requires consistent follow-up, accurate record keeping, and clear communication.
Responsibilities:
Contact delinquent (past due) customers by phone, text, and email
Follow set procedures to negotiate and arrange payment
Document all outreach and outcomes accurately
Escalate accounts as needed
Meet daily contact and resolution targets
Requirements:
Clear and professional communication skills
Comfortable making phone calls and handling objections
Reliable and organized
Experience in collections, customer service, or retention preferred
Full-time availability — 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day preferred (e.g. Tuesday–Saturday)
