The Glaser Center & Unitarian Universalist Congregation Santa Rosa on Mendocino Ave is looking for On-Site Event Staff to work mostly evenings and weekends for events at the Glaser Center. Training is provided, but a good customer service attitude and being open to a diversity of people is necessary for this job. On-Site Staff typically receive between 1 month and 1 week of notice for days and hours needed. Hours vary and typically On-Site staff are called in between 1 to 5 times a month for shifts.

On-Site Event Staff Job Description
Hours: Part Time - Hours Vary, mostly weekends and evenings.
Reports To: Rental Coordinator
Start Date: Immediate Opening
Compensation: starting at $20.00 per hour
Responsible for overseeing building and equipment used by renters:
Building security during facility rentals including opening and locking the building
Handling emergency and safety issues as they arise during facility rentals
Duties:
Setup and/or arrange tables, chairs, and other equipment as contracted by facility renters
General clean up after facility rentals such as empty trash, clean up spills and other light cleaning duties as needed
Other duties as assigned which may include setup and operation of the AV system
Qualifications:
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be personable and have good communication skills
Must feel comfortable interacting with individuals from all walks of life
Must be self-directing and able to work with minimal supervision
AV, Sound board, Lighting knowledge a plus; training available
Position Requirements:
Must be able to interact with others in spoken English
Must be able to twist, bend, and lift, up to 50 pounds .
Must be able to read and understand checklists and other operating manuals.
Must be able to communicate via email with supervisor in a timely manner.
As an On-site Staff it is crucial that the staff be attentive and responsive to all situations as they arise.
Must submit to background check and fingerprinting, hiring will be pending clearance.
Must complete required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Harassment Training, etc.
