CASHIER / ATTENDANT (Retirees Welcomed!) STARTING PAY $16 an hour; PAID TRAINING Competitive rate to start immediately for open in positions. Full-time currently available, starting at 4 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday mornings, Saturday Sunday evenings. Open schedule preferred will provide paid training and opportunity to add more shifts, and advance. This is a family owned store that has been in business for over 20 years now. Provide Customer Service
The cashier must ensure satisfactory customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with any needs or questions. You will sometimes be called upon to help locate or recommend product.
Maintain Inventory
Responsible for maintaining the store inventory, Cashiers must stock and re-stock shelves, replenishing product in shelving, coolers and beverage area.
Operate Register
In order to accept customer payments, the Cashier must operate the register and maintain the register balance. Basic knowledge of computers and POS systems is highly recommended.
Clean Station
Cashiers are tasked with maintaining clean and orderly stations. This includes servicing and cleaning the public restrooms, cleaning the windows and countertops, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors, and organizing shelves. Cashiers are also to keep the back area clean and organized.
