Senior Accountant position with a growing Tax and Accounting firm in Pleasanton, CA.
Pay: $25-$35 per hour based on experience
This role will provide bookkeeping, sales tax and payroll processing services to small/medium size businesses in a variety of industries including construction, contractors, professional service providers, restaurants and retail. Similar experience with another Accounting company will be a big plus.
Required:
A. 5+ years experience in bookkeeping/accounting including bank reconciliations, recording journal entries and review of balance sheet and P&L for accuracy
B. Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field and sound understanding of basic accounting principles to be able to come up with journal entries and accounting adjustments as needed. CPA, EA or Masters will be a big plus
C. 2+ years experience using QuickBooks Desktop or Online. Candidate must know how to reconcile bank accounts, post journal entries and prepare/review basic financial statements in QuickBooks
