Company Overview:
We are a well-established retail home improvement store located in the East Bay Area, specializing in high-quality materials and products for homeowners, contractors, and designers. We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our records.
Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Oakland, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience (with benefits)
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Work closely with management to track expenses and revenue
Requirements:
QuickBooks experience is highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (we will train on specifics)
Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role is a plus
