Whitemore James Black is presently assisting our top law firm on their search for a full time Accounting Coordinator. This role is in-office in San Francisco, with the option to work remotely two days per week. The firm operates on a 35 hour work week, and any hours worked above 35 are paid separately. This role can also be temporary-to-permanent; unemployed candidates with accounting experience are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of prior accounting experience. An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is helpful but not required. Experience with the Elite program is helpful.
The Accounting Coordinator will primarily be responsible for preparing and tracking payments for the firm's clients and vendors. The Coordinator will also document payments made, and assist with month- and year-end reporting. The Coordinator will also assist the department with developing department processes and procedures.
