We are a small general contractor signatory to the Nor-Cal Carpenter's union with an average of 22-24 employees. We are seeking a full time bookkeeper who is able to perform the following functions:
# Accounts Payable
# Accounts Receivable / AIA Billings
# Payroll (In-house payroll, not ADP or 3rd party service)
# Certified Payroll via LCP Tracker, et al.
# Maintaining Financial Records
# Maintain hard-copy job and accounting file folders
# Account reconciliation
# Financial reporting
# GL Management
# Monthly Union Reporting
# Quarterly Tax Filing/Reporting
# Job-Cost Accounting
# Mechanic's Lien releases
The ideal candidate will have several years experience in construction accounting, and will have experience in and understanding of in-house payroll inclusive of union fringe benefits. WE DO NOT USE third-party payroll services, we do our own payroll. We use Sage 100 Contractor software and are looking for someone who has experience with this software package.
We prefer a full-time person, but are open to 6-7 hours daily Monday thru Friday if that is your desire. Typical hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with a half hour lunch, or until 4pm if an hour lunch is taken. Benefits include:
