We are seeking a junior/entry-level staff accountant whose responsibilities include but not limited to
- Organizing, maintaining, and filing of financial records such as invoices and payment receipts;
- Entering student account activities into Quickbooks and Blackbaud academic information system;
- Reviewing general ledger accounts for accuracy and preparing adjusting journal entries;
- Performing account analysis and reconciliation with bank and credit card statements;
- Complying with internal controls to ensure integrity of financial and accounting information;
- Other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Candidate’s qualifications should possess the following attributes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Good understanding of GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks
- Ability to prioritize and manage time among competing tasks
