Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Corporate Finance Associate (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Responsible for consolidating, reporting, and forecasting financial information for the Instacart to optimize costs, accelerate growth, and understand key factors in performance. Duties include: driving the creation of the company forecast and key financial processes, including setting targets, budgeting, operational planning, and long-range forecasting; leveraging financial analyses, key performance indicators, and market trends to develop recommendations for strategic decision-making; creating new processes and improving existing processes relating to financial planning and reporting; working with senior leadership on enhancing overall company strategy and evaluating opportunities for growth; developing business narratives to facilitate communications between board members and investors; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 3 years of experience performing advanced data collection and analysis in Excel, SQL, or similar programs; 3 years of experience conducting financial modeling and forecasting; 3 years of experience in using financial data to identify and quantify opportunities for growth and profitability improvement; 3 years of experience developing analytical models to forecast business performance.
