The Company is a construction company located in Dublin. We seek a self-motivated accounting professional who is willing to jump in and get the job done.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The controller is responsible for the accurate oversight of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions of the company, as well as the maintenance of bank accounts, general ledgers and chart of accounts.
The controller is also responsible for the regular and timely creation of financial statements and reports, as needed and requested by the company.
Oversee vendor invoices; ensure proper authorization of invoices prior to payment.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
Oversee weekly payroll and review payroll reports for accuracy; maintain payroll files.
Respond to employee questions regarding payroll.
Construction experience required
Foundation software experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Detail oriented with strong follow-through skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of invoicing, billing, and utilizing accounting software.
Able to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, Google docs/sheets
Intermediate Excel skills required (filters, sorting, pivot tables, V lookup, etc.)
Knowledge of Foundation Accounting Software is mandatory
