Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The Assistant Bookkeeper will support the bookkeeping department in various accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate has experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks Online and has a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Duties:
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or related field is preferred
- Proficient in using accounting software - Quickbooks Online
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
