Bookkeeper - Part Time
Location: SF / Peninsula (occasional meetings) Hybrid / Mostly Remote
Job Type: Part-Time 15 - 20 Hours a Week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance- and keep our accounts in top shape!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare tax returns (including 1099s) with help from CFO
- Prepare contracts and onboarding new contractors / employees
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with management (CFO and Accounting Manager) on financial decisions
- Familiar with payment platforms (e.g. Square & Stripe)
Requirements:
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel / Google Sheets, and Docusign
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Compensation:
$25/hour
