Accounts Receivable Clerk
Qualifications
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work & Excel – Intermediate) and Quickbooks Online
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience: 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
Responsibilities
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections
Process customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner
Post and reconcile daily deposits to customer accounts
Contact customers for outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions
Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries
Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable
Benefits
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
In addition, our associates may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable

Smart Demolition and Excavation is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk. This position is 100% in office in Union City and will start with 20-25 hours per week. This job has the potential of becoming full-time.
