In-Office Accountant for Commercial Real Estate Firm Based in Tiburon California Needed.
Duties:
- Primarily A/P and credit card reconciliation
- Correspond with tenants and vendors
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in financial accounting tasks, including journal entries and month-end closing
- Assist with accrual accounting and ensure accurate recording of expenses and revenues
- Process accounts payable transactions and maintain vendor records
- Assist in auditing financial records and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls
- Provide support in budgeting and forecasting
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Assist in financial management tasks, including cash flow management and financial reporting
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
